A Transparent Musical - Mark Taper Forum May 20 to June 25

The Foundation is working on helping to bring the world premiere of "A Transparent Musical” to the Mark Taper Forum from May 20 to June 25 with a majority of the cast & crew identifying as transgender and/or nonbinary. This new work is based on the Amazon series “Transparent”, Book by Joey Soloway and MJ Kaufman, Music and Lyrics by Faith Soloway, Choreography by James Also, Directed by Tina Landau.

Center Theatre Group tries to use local actors in their plays but have opened this production to cast & crew from other cities. With that, there is a need to house them for various timeframes throughout the run of the production: some for just a week, some for the entire performance and some even before the performance throughout the rehearsal process. The Foundation is looking for people that have a guest house or AirBnB that is willing to let the performers stay. If you or someone you know has that availability, please contact us and we will help make that happen. If you can't host, please make a donation to our Foundation and we will match the donation amount to be able to book a furnished home or AirBnB for the performers.
